About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at 2466643 ONTARIO INC. as a Surface Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Compaction and Leveling: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
  • Installation and Fixtures: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to ensure a secure and durable finish.
  • Curing and Restoration: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and restore damaged or worn sections of concrete structures.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in concrete finishing.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 32 hours per week.
