Concrete Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team at Friends Concrete Cutting Inc. as a Cement Finisher. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.
Key Responsibilities- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, such as trowels and grinders.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to secure and stabilize concrete structures.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect against damage.
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to ensure durability and longevity.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Estimate costs and materials to ensure accurate budgeting and project planning.
- Commercial and residential experience with concrete finishing and repair.
- Ability to work at heights and in dusty environments.
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Client focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
