Position Overview

The Feasts - Best Food & Drinks is seeking a dedicated **Food and Beverage Server** to enhance our dining experience. This role requires a blend of customer service skills and knowledge of food and drink offerings.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Previous experience is an asset or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively
  • Prepare and serve specialty dishes directly to customers
  • Present bills and process payments through various methods including cash, credit, or debit cards
  • Provide detailed descriptions of menu items and daily specials
  • Adhere to provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations
  • Offer recommendations on menu selections
  • Maintain accurate cash balance and record sales transactions
  • Clear and sanitize tables, trays, and chairs
  • Assist customers in selecting wines and provide sensory evaluations
  • Welcome patrons, present menus, and answer inquiries regarding food and beverages
  • Manage inventory of wines and related glassware
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of other servers and support staff
  • Take and relay orders to kitchen and bar personnel
  • Assist in scheduling and training staff
  • Support clients/guests with special needs
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee a team of:

  • 5-10 people
  • 11-15 people
  • 16-20 people
Security and Safety

Completion of a criminal record check is required.

Work Environment
