Position Overview

The Feasts - Best Food & Drinks is seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Server to enhance our guests' dining experience. This role is essential in delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Equivalent experience is also acceptable
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly
  • Prepare and serve specialty dishes directly at tables
  • Present bills and process payments via cash, credit, debit, or room billing
  • Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials
  • Enforce local liquor laws and regulations
  • Offer recommendations on menu selections
  • Maintain accurate cash balance and record sales transactions
  • Clear and sanitize tables, trays, and chairs
  • Advise customers on wine selections
  • Welcome patrons, present menus, and respond to inquiries regarding food and beverages
  • Manage inventory of wines and related glassware
  • Conduct sensory evaluations of wines
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently
  • Supervise and support other servers and bussing staff
  • Take and relay orders to kitchen and bar staff
  • Schedule and train staff as needed
  • Assist guests with special requirements
  • Deliver outstanding customer service consistently
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee a team of:

  • 5-10 individuals
  • 11-15 individuals
  • 16-20 individuals
Security and Safety

All candidates must undergo a criminal record check.

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere
  • Physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure
Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
  • Permanent position available
  • Work language: English
  • Work hours: 35 to 48 hours per week
