Position: Senior Technician in Building Automation
Overview: Ainsworth is seeking a proficient Senior Technician in Building Automation to enhance our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, programming, and implementation of advanced building automation systems.
Essential Skills and Expertise:
- Comprehensive understanding of building automation system architecture;
- Proficiency in programming digital controllers;
- Familiarity with open communication standards and system interoperability;
- Technical acumen in the commissioning, validation, calibration, and preventive upkeep of automated building solutions;
- Experience with large-scale construction initiatives;
- Background in critical environments is advantageous;
- Capacity to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism and courtesy;
- Strong interpersonal communication abilities;
- Proficiency in English is beneficial.
Qualifications:
- College Diploma in Building Mechanics, Electronics, or Instrumentation and Control Technology;
- At least 10 years of experience in building automation;
- Valid driver's license with a willingness to travel occasionally;
- Full-time permanent role;
