About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Palm & Pine Indian Restaurant Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials to drive sales and customer satisfaction
    • Ensure that all menu items meet our high standards of quality and presentation
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties
    • Lead by example and demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure that all ingredients and supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner
    • Monitor and control food costs to ensure that they are within budget
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef or in a related role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and will be required to stand for long periods of time. The successful candidate will be able to work well in a team environment and will be committed to providing excellent customer service.
