About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Garuda Enterprises Inc. as a Head Cook. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our culinary standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership: Provide culinary guidance and leadership to our kitchen staff, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of kitchen inventory, including ordering and stocking of ingredients and supplies.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food prepared in our kitchen meets our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring that their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant experience is essential.
  • Transportation/Travel: Willing to travel and relocate for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Culinary Specialties: Experience in South Indian and vegetarian cuisine is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy objects.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
