Associate Dean, School of Accounting and Finance Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic leader to join our team as Associate Dean, School of Accounting and Finance. The successful candidate will provide collaborative academic leadership and management of the School, aligning with the strategic initiatives of the College's academic plan.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Dean and leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans for the Centre and School.
- Supervise faculty, managers, and support staff, conducting effective hiring, orienting, and developing processes.
- Resolve conflicts and address complaints, managing complex team dynamics effectively.
- Lead the review, development, implementation, and quality assurance of new and existing programs and initiatives.
- Ensure the objectives of the School are attained through effective supervision of teaching and learning processes.
- Lead workload and workforce planning for the School, determining faculty teaching and complementary function assignments.
- Develop and monitor the School's operating budget, ensuring fiscal accountability for all funding sources.
- Master's Degree required; Doctorate Degree preferred.
- Relevant post-grad degree and experience in education, preferably in a unionized environment.
- Minimum nine (9) years of experience in education, including management/leadership experience.
- Demonstrated administrative/leadership experience, including budget management and human resources administration.
