About the Role

Premform Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Assign projects to subordinates and staff related to work safety, environmental safety, and accident prevention.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Review HR directives to assure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Workplace Inspections: Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards.
  • Training and Development: Manage training and development strategies to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely.
  • Health and Safety Planning: Develop and implement health and safety plans to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Regulatory Enforcement: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and enforced within the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Site Environment: Ability to work outdoors, in noisy, dusty environments.
  • Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, manual dexterity, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Judgement, accurate, reliability.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
