Job Title: Student Advisor, MA Leadership

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Student Advisor to support the academic success and personal growth of our MA Leadership students. As a key member of our team, you will provide guidance, mentorship, and support to students throughout their program, ensuring they achieve their academic and professional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students, addressing their academic, personal, and professional needs.
  • Develop and implement academic support plans to help students achieve their goals.
  • Liaise with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless student support.
  • Monitor student progress, identifying areas of concern and providing targeted support.
  • Facilitate small group discussions and workshops on topics such as study strategies, self-management, and cultural expectations.
  • Participate in orientation activities and assist new students in adjusting to their new environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in education or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in academic advising or a related field.
  • Experience working with international students and understanding cultural diversity is an asset.
