About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Cook to join our team at Kravings Diner Inc. As an Assistant Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal kitchen operations.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
