Sales Assistance Specialist, Mine Shaft Systems

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Assistance Specialist to join our Mine Shaft Systems division. This position is focused on providing support in various sales functions and engaging with customers effectively. Candidates with a background in mechanical systems, particularly in underground mining, along with excellent communication abilities, are encouraged to apply.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience with mechanical systems, ideally in the underground mining sector
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in margin analysis and preparing quotations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Oracle software

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and upkeep of proposals
  • Assisting Product Line Managers with Capital Sales initiatives
  • Maintaining customer and equipment databases
  • Conducting sales analysis, reporting, and order processing
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Field Services teams
  • Supporting Aftermarket Sales and nurturing customer relationships
  • Advocating for services and promoting a culture of safety
