Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Security team, which specializes in Identity and Access Management. In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic group to create system integrations through coding, testing, debugging, and adhering to software engineering best practices within an Agile framework. You will also contribute to the development of your peers' skills in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop components in Java for SailPoint's IdentityQ platform, including LifeCycle and connectors.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the technical and business functionalities of the IdentityIQ system to effectively communicate with colleagues and users.
  • Convert requirements into technical specifications and software components.
  • Provide design and modeling solutions for complex challenges to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Review design deliverables to ensure code and design quality.
  • Develop and maintain intricate components.
  • Actively engage in the prioritization and planning of the team's initiatives.
  • Guide the project team in development tasks to ensure high-quality code delivery while adhering to project timelines.
  • Create unit and integration tests for each developed function.
  • Contribute to the implementation of regression testing strategies to enhance application stability.
  • Offer support and maintenance for the application, addressing complex issues as they arise.
  • Work independently and take initiative.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong knowledge of IGA concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and take initiative.
  • Team-oriented with a keen attention to detail.
  • Bilingual in French and English is required.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada is necessary; Canadian work experience is not mandatory.
  • Experience with SailPoint's IdentityQ is a significant advantage.
