Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services Specialist

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
You will work in various settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and community environments, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
About YouWe are looking for a qualified candidate with a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university. Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists is also required.
- Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook, are necessary for this position.
- Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS) is also required.
- Additional courses or training in specialized areas, such as cardio-respiratory techniques, acupuncture, stroke rehabilitation, manual therapy, balance training, etc., are an asset.
- Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are an asset.

Hours- This is a permanent part-time position, with 20% FTE and 15 hours bi-weekly.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $42.89.
