Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. As a key member of our team, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities. You will provide services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings, and educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university. Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists is also required. Additionally, you should have computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook. Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification is also necessary. Experience in specialized areas of practice, such as cardio-respiratory techniques, acupuncture, stroke rehabilitation, manual therapy, balance training, etc., is an asset. Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are also an asset.
HoursThis is a permanent part-time position with 20% FTE and 15 hours bi-weekly.
Compensation and IncentivesThe successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $42.89. Additionally, they may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
