About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients who present with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose patients to develop effective treatment plans
  • Provide physiotherapy services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings
  • Educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers
  • Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and assistants
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
  • Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists (provincial licensing body)
  • Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook
  • Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS)
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
