Role Overview
As a Senior Implementation Consultant specializing in Front Office functions (including Portfolio Construction, Compliance Checks, and Trading), your role will be crucial in expanding our market unit within a strategic vertical for SimCorp.
We are driven by outcomes, aiming to deliver high-quality results to our customers. You will typically engage full-time in implementation projects that require your specialized knowledge in the Front Office domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Own specific work streams of the project plan, engaging directly with our clients' end users (portfolio managers, traders, compliance, and performance team members) from solution design to final adoption.
- Serve as a vital sparring partner for SimCorp clients, effectively monitoring, coordinating, and escalating issues as necessary with project stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for significant components of SimCorp Dimension implementation projects, understanding customer requirements and processes related to the buy-side industry, specifically asset managers, asset owners, and insurers, while outlining solutions for optimal use of SimCorp Dimension.
Collaboration and Growth
Work closely with the project manager, playing a key role in driving projects to success. Identify opportunities to offer tailored services beyond the project scope, acting as a trusted advisor.
Best Practices
Contribute to enhancing best practices for implementation processes and promote relevant topics across projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Analyst or Implementation Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks, or consulting firms.
- Familiarity with compliance, regulatory, and internal restrictions.
- Knowledge of performance measurement and attribution, as well as risk management (market and liquidity).
- Understanding of regulatory topics, such as Solvency II.
- Ideally, experience with SimCorp Dimension or familiarity with implementing and configuring financial software.
- Strong communication and consulting skills, with a high degree of commercial awareness, customer orientation, and quality consciousness.
