Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Expert

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to advance inclusive practices and policies.
  • Evaluate programs and initiatives to ensure they are effective in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Provide training and support to employees on diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, social sciences, or public administration.
  • At least three years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, accessibility, or employment equity.
  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, such as the Employment Equity Act and Accessible Canada Act.
