Diversity and Inclusion Specialist

About the Role
You'll work closely with our Director of DEI, Mental Health & Well-being, and other experts in the field to develop and implement impactful DEI initiatives. Your expertise will help us build internal partnerships, plan, deliver, and evaluate projects that drive meaningful change.
What You'll Do Here
- Identify opportunities and strategies to create value within business units.
- Lead project teams and/or major projects to ensure progress on the DEI journey.
- Provide expertise, coaching, and strategic advice to HR and leaders on DEI matters.
- Nurture our DEI vision by providing data-driven insights and coaching.
- Contribute to the development, execution, and evaluation of DEI initiatives, action plans, resources, and tools.
- Support employee relations and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Collaborate with Human Resources teams and Centres of Expertise to understand and solve DEI-related challenges.
- Benchmark best practices and collect/analyze organizational metrics to identify opportunities to strengthen DEI.
- Build and execute project plans, change management plans, and contribute to communication plans.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience in Human Resources with a focus on DEI, anti-racism, and decolonization.
- Experience leading and executing projects with a change management approach.
- Strong consultation skills to develop and deliver initiatives with consideration of best practices.
- Project and change management proficiency.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills to build and present impactful presentations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to progress the DEI journey.
- Ability to manage, prioritize, and reprioritize multiple tasks and initiatives.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is required.
