Job Summary

Michael Garron Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Diversity and Inclusion Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of programs, policies, and initiatives that advance our equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging (EDIB) priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EDIB goals and strategies in alignment with the hospital's strategic plan
  • Lead the implementation of EDIB work plan objectives and priorities
  • Conduct audits of related policies, procedures, and processes to identify systemic bias
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert and advisor on matters of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
  • Collect and analyze diversity and health equity data to advance inclusiveness in the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum five years' experience developing and implementing EDIB programs, policies, and initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in equity, diversity, inclusion, and social justice
