We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Cummings Small Engine Service. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient operation of our parts counter.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, address customer complaints or concerns, and provide advice on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
- Inventory Management: Clean and maintain the office, supply area, or warehouse, identify, label, and catalogue items received, and maintain records on the inventory control system.
- Parts Sales and Distribution: Sell spare and replacement parts, issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use, and prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general office duties, prepare and track work orders, and process incoming requisitions.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Inventory control software and internet.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment.
