About the Role

The University Health Network is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Altum Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service and support to clients and customers via phone, email, and in-person
  • Assist with client and product specific coordination and administration responsibilities
  • Perform clerical support services, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required

Requirements

  • Completion of High School education required
  • Completion of Office Administration certificate or diploma preferred
  • One (1) year or more of related experience required
  • Previous on-the-job word processing and spreadsheet experience required
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills required
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve clinic/client/customer problems in a diplomatic manner required
  • General knowledge of office practices, processes and procedures required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology an asset
  • Ability to deal effectively with difficult clients and conflicting situations required
  • Ability to anticipate and tune-in to customer's unique needs required
  • Ability to produce high quality work in accordance with Hospital standards
  • Flexibility required to keep pace with an ever-changing environment
