Maintaining exceptional food safety and sanitation practices is crucial in this position. You will consistently adhere to established procedures and guidelines to uphold the integrity of our food services.
Your ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the patient/client menu.
- Follow quantity recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Integrate our organizational values and mission into your daily work.
We invite candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Completion of Grade 12 or GED.
- Food Safety Level 1 certification (Food Handlers).
- At least one year of recent experience in a cooking role.
- Familiarity with food handling and safety practices in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding all organizational matters.
- Dedication to fostering a culture of safety and ethical practice.
This position offers a casual relief schedule, allowing for flexibility while contributing to our mission of providing exceptional health services.
