Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Acadia First Nation. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the highest quality of food service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • Culinary arts diploma or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
