About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and package medications for dispensing to patients
  • Operate automated dispensing systems and manage inventory
  • Assist pharmacists with medication reconciliation and patient counseling
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
  • Licensure and registration in Nova Scotia as a Pharmacy Technician (NSCP)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting an asset
