Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Michaels. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, and maintaining a well-organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Recovery: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandise recovery, stockroom organization, and visual merchandising.
  • Checkout Experience: Ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience for customers, handling cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Omni-Channel Support: Assist customers with online orders, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes.
  • Merchandise Duties: Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes, ensuring accurate and efficient merchandise placement.
  • Store In-Stock Optimization: Support store inventory management, including performing stock counts and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Shrink and Safety: Contribute to shrink reduction and safety initiatives, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Retail Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, move throughout the store, and lift heavy boxes and merchandise.
