Job Overview

The Digital Insights Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Digital teams by providing data-driven insights into customer behavior across various online platforms. This position is essential for delivering strategic omnichannel insights that facilitate informed business decisions and enhance revenue and customer engagement.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Utilization of data to uncover insights and formulate recommendations that guide decisions within Digital teams.
  • Consistent and precise delivery of reports and insights, ensuring stakeholder needs are met within established timelines.
  • Assessment of current analytical tools and their implementation to identify areas for enhancement or optimization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Functional

  • Lead the successful execution of digital insight projects, collaborating directly with stakeholders to support decision-making aligned with Digital goals.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for optimization to enhance the customer experience across digital channels.
  • Develop and present dashboard reports, providing data and insights through regular and ad-hoc reporting to assist teams in monitoring their performance metrics.
  • Act as a customer advocate, ensuring their needs are prioritized in all decision-making and design processes.
  • Anticipate and identify customer expectations and requirements.
  • Embrace innovative technologies that offer high-tech and high-touch solutions for customers.
  • Challenge existing processes by identifying improvement opportunities, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions.

Qualifications

Work Experience / Education / Certifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analytics across various digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in analyzing customer data for actionable business insights.
  • Experience in developing and delivering comprehensive reporting on digital performance.
  • Strong understanding of databases and data structures, with the ability to manage large and complex datasets.

Competencies / Skills / Attributes

  • Proficient in web analytics tools for analyzing user behavior data, with a preference for Adobe Analytics.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying relational databases.
  • Experience in creating dashboards using visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with developing and executing A/B testing would be advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and negotiate with various stakeholders.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying information effectively to both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to understanding the relationships between data and activities, drawing conclusions, and validating outputs through critical thinking.
