Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Specialist to join our team at Sephora. As an Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service to clients as needed during store business hours.
  • Training and Development: Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and MPOS systems.
  • Store Presentation: Assist in maintaining standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone, and be aware of and assist in maintaining SEPHORA's merchandising concepts.
  • Merchandising and Operations: Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner, organize and maintain stockroom per company standards, and process transfers, damages, and testers per company standards.
  • Inventory Management: Communicate inventory issues/concerns to Supervisor(s), Assistant Manager(s), or Store Manager, and ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in inventory control and be cross-trained in cashier functions.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of retail/client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity.
  • Skills: Good computer, arithmetic, and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Availability: Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
Physical Requirements
  • Work in a fragrance-filled environment.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Bend and stretch to stock shelves.

The compensation for this role ranges between CAD$22.80. The final pay offered will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the actual qualifications and experience of the individual, and any additional non-discriminatory, legitimate business factors relevant to the position and/or location.
