Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Control Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, monitoring the movement of supplies and materials, and preparing reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and Organize: Compile orders and instructions received from customers, and organize tasks to accomplish the work.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain: Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization, monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments, and arrange for maintenance and repair work.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain progress and other reports.
  • Project Management: Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units, and project management.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, and resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Computer and Technology: Internet, MS Office, Project management software
  • Area of Work Experience: Quality assurance or control
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, organized
