Lions Drywall Taping and Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Drywall Installer to join our team.

As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and finishing of drywall in various construction projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets according to specifications.
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster or joint compound using trowels and broad knives.
  • Tape over joints using taping machines and embed tape in compound.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound.
  • Finish corners and angles, creating decorative designs as required.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation.
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure proper drying.
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency.
Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a Drywall Installer.
  • Strong understanding of drywall installation techniques and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools related to drywall installation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable, flexible, and possess good judgment.
