Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Coordinator to join our Solar Construction team. As a Field Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our solar construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Support
    • Assist with updating project drawings and specifications.
    • Document field records for quality, production, labor, and materials.
  • Inventory and Tracking
    • Assist with inventory management and tracking time sheets, costs, and quantities.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Assist in monitoring the quality plan, including conducting quality inspections.
    • Conduct basic safety inspections and training, identify and correct safety hazards, and lead by example in safety practices and procedures.
  • Subtrade Partner Management
    • Assist the project team with subtrade partner management, including managing requests for information, shop drawings, changes, and billings, and workforce planning.
  • Scheduling and Performance
    • Assist with schedules and monitoring performance.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, architecture, trade, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 0-1 years of progressive experience as a Field Coordinator is preferred.
  • Skills
    • Ability to learn and apply basic construction principles, specifications, and procedures.
    • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders, including supervisors and subtrade partners.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
