About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Law Clerk/Legal Assistant with a strong background in Family Law to join our team at TAG HR. As a Family Law Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients and lawyers in the preparation and management of family law cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare correspondence and legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and affidavits
  • Review and draft client financial statements and other court documents
  • Compile and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Arrange service and filing of court documents, ensuring timely and efficient completion
  • Manage team calendars, schedules, and client appointments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
  • Maintain professional contact with clients, counsel, and court officials, providing exceptional customer service and support
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Law Clerk/Legal Assistant with Family Law experience
  • A Law Clerk college diploma or related degree
  • Proficiency in Family Law rules and court filing processes
  • Strong English communication and client service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and files
  • Confident, dependable, and flexible team member with proactive initiative
