About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at Perfect Air Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal components for our air handling systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate fabrication of sheet metal components.

  • Sheet Metal Fabrication

Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates, and operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal components.

  • Quality Control and Assurance

Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces to ensure high-quality finishes and meet our quality standards.

  • Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Layout

Develop computerized patterns and layouts to optimize sheet metal fabrication and minimize waste.

  • Equipment Assembly and Installation

Assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment to facilitate safe and efficient sheet metal handling.

  • Sheet Metal Assembly and Fitting

Fabricate and fit sheet metal parts to ensure precise and accurate assembly of air handling systems.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.

  • Language and Communication

Fluency in English language and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

  • Work Schedule and Hours

Permanent position with 30 to 35 hours per week.
