About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team at New Way Railing & Metal Works Ltd. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and Mark Sheet Metal: Accurately measure and mark sheet metal according to templates and specifications.
  • Operate Metalworking Machines: Safely operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal to meet project requirements.
  • Develop Computerized Patterns: Create computerized patterns and layouts for sheet metal fabrication projects.
  • Assemble and Install Equipment: Assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment as required.
  • Fabricate and Fit Sheet Metal Parts: Fit and join sheet metal parts to create finished products.
  • Install Sheet Metal Products: Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced fabrication environment with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Language and Communication: Communicate effectively in English with colleagues and management.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week with occasional overtime as required.
