Sheet Metal Worker Job Description

New Way Railing & Metal Works Ltd. is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates using precision tools and equipment.
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal to precise specifications.
  • Develop computerized patterns and layouts for efficient production.
  • Assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment as required.
  • Fabricate and fit sheet metal parts to exacting standards.
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes, ensuring quality and safety.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly.
  • Permanent employment with a regular 40-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
