About the RoleWe are looking for an exceptional individual with a Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline and significant postdoctoral experience in neuroscience and immunology. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of research excellence, with a strong publication record, presentations at significant conferences, and experience in overseeing a research team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing new cutting-edge technologies and strengths in areas such as neural- and glial-immune interactions, preclinical models of neuroinflammation, and human cohorts/samples and systems-biology approaches to neuroimmunology.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and lead an original, competitive, and independently funded research program of international caliber.
- Teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Contribute to the development of new research initiatives and collaborations within the Department of Immunology and the Krembil Research Institute.
- Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians to advance our understanding of neuroimmunology and develop new treatments for neurological disorders.
