Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Manitoba Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's culinary vision.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate special events and banquets, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Proven track record of menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification an asset.
