Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in flooring installation or equivalent experience
Work Environment

The role involves working in a dusty environment, requiring physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces for coverage
  • Develop flooring plans and manage installation schedules
  • Measure, cut, and install various types of flooring, including carpeting and resilient floor coverings
  • Prepare and install hardwood flooring
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Install carpeting on walls and other surfaces
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
