Job Summary

Cornelius Flooring is seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, and resilient floor coverings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting, hardwood floors, and resilient floor coverings
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 hours per week
Work Environment

The work environment is physically demanding, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. The work setting is commercial and residential.
