About the Role

Cornelius Flooring is seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, and resilient flooring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting, hardwood, and resilient flooring
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in dusty environments. You will be working in commercial and residential settings, and must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Client focus and organized
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
