Cornelius Flooring is seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including hardwood, carpet, and resilient floor coverings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting, hardwood floors, and resilient floor coverings
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants

Work Environment: Our Flooring Specialists work in a variety of settings, including commercial and residential locations. The work can be physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A permanent work term and 30 hours per week are guaranteed.

Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
