Bilingual Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual Accounts Receivable Collections Agent to join our finance department in Dartmouth, NS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting payments from customers, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect payments from customers in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and payments
- Communicate with customers to resolve outstanding issues and delays in payment
- Provide all required documentation to customers for proof of sales and delivery
- Maintain credit hold lists and communicate with branch managers
- Update customer data in the system, including contact information
- Follow up on payment dates and provide professional customer service
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Post-secondary Accounting Certificate/Diploma considered an asset
- Excellent data entry skills and basic accounting knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with ERP's and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
