We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Collections Agent to join our finance department in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Key Responsibilities- Collect payments from customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Resolve outstanding issues and communicate with customers to ensure prompt payment
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payments
- Provide documentation to customers for proof of sales and delivery
- Communicate with branch managers regarding credit hold lists
- Update customer data in our system
- Provide follow-ups on payment dates
- Offer professional customer service to internal and external customers
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Post-secondary Accounting Certificate/Diploma considered an asset
- Excellent data entry skills
- Basic Accounting knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with ERP's and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
