Job Title: Scrum Master

About the Role

As a Scrum Master, you will lead and support an Agile scrum team, ensuring the effective execution of Agile methodology and principles. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Tracking projects through each phase of the project lifecycle
  • Working with dependent teams to prepare execution plans
  • Ensuring milestones are met and projects progress through approval gates
  • Documenting project status and maintaining information repositories
  • Maintaining project risk trackers and communicating risks to management
  • Preparing work back schedules, roadmaps, and capacity planning
  • Ensuring a balance between team capacity and workload for successful project delivery
  • Supporting app releases and rollout-related activities
  • Keeping stakeholders informed on project status and roadblocks
  • Articulating complex problems and solutions in a clear and logical manner
  • Engaging stakeholders for consultation throughout the project
  • Contributing to the productivity and happiness of the scrum team
  • Supporting team members in challenging situations
  • Introducing Agile engineering best practices
  • Facilitating healthy communication between team members
  • Scheduling and chairing scrum ceremonies
  • Accountable for conducting regular retros and addressing team feedback
  • Monitoring team progress and preparing reports
  • Understanding team strengths and weaknesses to improve project lifecycle
  • Leading by example and providing feedback to improve processes and tools
  • Aligning best practices across delivery teams
  • Continuous improvement and learning from other delivery team members
  • Active role in application audit-related activities
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master with:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing and delivering complex software projects
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and Certified Scrum Master certification (CSM / PSM)
  • Expert knowledge of project management practices, disciplines, tools, and methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Creativity and adaptability in identifying solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationships management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex initiatives
  • Proactivity and accountability
