We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to establish and grow our sales channels with major Canadian retail chains, including Costco, Superstore, Canadian Tire, Walmart, and large kitchenware stores.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a sales strategy to introduce our cookware products to major retail chains and kitchenware stores.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at Costco, Superstore, Canadian Tire, Walmart, and similar chains, as well as large kitchenware retailers.
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing strategies, and sales forecasts tailored to each retailer's requirements.
- Negotiate and secure agreements that support mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with retailers' standards.
- Proven experience in business development or sales management with large retail chains.
- In-depth understanding of the purchasing processes of Costco, Superstore, Canadian Tire, Walmart, or similar retailers, as well as large kitchenware stores.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Must be located in Canada and familiar with the Canadian retail market.
To ensure the ideal candidate for this position, we require previous experience successfully helping a client get their product into major retailers such as Costco, Superstore, Canadian Tire, Walmart, or top kitchenware stores. Experience with other retailers is beneficial but not our primary focus.
This experience should include a deep understanding of the vendor onboarding process, compliance with stringent product standards, and proven success in building relationships with key buyers to secure shelf space and drive sales.
