Part-Time Professor, Counselling Psychology Program

Yorkville University is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct/Part-Time Professor to teach within our Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) program. As a member of our Faculty of Behavioral Sciences, you will play a key role in delivering university courses at the graduate level.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and facilitating counselling psychology theory and skills courses
- Fostering student success through ongoing support and coaching
- Managing discussion forums and learning activities through the Moodle platform
- Timely marking and feedback for all student assessments
- Responding to student inquiries and concerns
- Participating in University and Program level committees
- Performing administrative tasks related to the course
- Supporting strategic program growth and ensuring ongoing self-development in the field
- A conferred Doctorate degree in counselling, psychology, psychotherapy, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in counselling, psychology, psychotherapy, or a related field
- Active clinical practice license
- Teaching experience at graduate level, as well as experience using the Moodle online delivery platform
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal
