Job Title: Case Manager, Community Residential Facility

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Case Manager to join our team at the Elizabeth Fry Society of Kingston. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing ongoing support and supervision to residents of our Community Residential Facility. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women who have been in conflict with the law and are on community release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis prevention and intervention, behavior management, and referrals to community resources
  • Develop and implement individualized Residential Action Plans to empower clients to progress toward and achieve set personal development goals
  • Collaborate with clients and other residential staff to ensure a safe and supportive living environment
  • Attend women's correctional institutions for programming and to complete interviews, building rapport prior to a resident's arrival at the CRF
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, assist in developing the staff schedule, and oversee property maintenance of the CRF

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Services field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of the criminal justice system is mandatory; family law knowledge and experience considered an asset
  • Minimum of two years' experience working in a non-profit organization or in a criminal justice service delivery environment
  • Strong administration and organizational skills, with experience in property management and data collection and management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with clients, staff, and community partners
