Food Preparation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at King Tandoori Bar and Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that the kitchen is clean and well-organized.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to ensure that all kitchen staff are working efficiently and effectively.
- Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies.
As a Culinary Specialist at King Tandoori Bar and Grill, you will work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet the demands of a busy kitchen.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
