About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gravel Truck Driver to join our team at 671693 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting gravel and other materials to various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods, including gravel, sand, and other materials, using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as complete necessary paperwork and reports.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 40 to 60 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Outdoor work environment, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
