Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at AJ SAND AND GRAVEL. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our team.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and securing it properly.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Certifications: Valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and ability to obtain any necessary endorsements.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 40 to 44 hours per week. The language of work is English.
